A few side thoughts....

After the introduction of the iPhone 5, I have come to a few conclusions. First, at the risk of incurring wrath of the Google faithful, I just wanted to add that competition is a GooD thing, but like most auto racing and football games, no one takes the hate to blind hatred.

For all you Android users out there, and there are alot of you, its great to see such immense strides made in the Android ecosystem. Shortcomings that they were, and still are, it shows that great hardware doesn't make all the difference without refinement and Integration.

For better or worse, Apple still does the integration thing better than anyone else, and despite the claims from detractors of unilateral development and sameness (otherwise known as blandness), the whole IOS experience is amazingly consistent. Are some features missing, like NFC and fancy Pc style file handling missing? Of course, but then Apple only changes to new technology when it works, and works well.

Remember that without Apple, Android would have a very different look and feel, and the wholesale changes that had been made, were as a Result of the Android team realizing their error in judgement to the interface. Otherwise Android users would have a lot more Blackberry in their desert flavor.

Remember, competition is good, war is bad and innovation is where its at.

PS. Would be killer to have Samsung's Super AMOLED Plus screen hooked up to an iPhone
